In his speech, Wang Mengzhou pointed out that Anshun, as a key tea-producing region in Guizhou, has consistently adhered to a development philosophy that prioritizes ecology and quality. The scale of its tea industry continues to expand, and the influence of its brands is steadily growing. As it enters a new stage of development, Anshun will take this Tea Season launch event as an opportunity to further leverage its role as a bridge and link, fostering collaboration between government and enterprises and connecting production with sales. It will guide tea companies to deepen their focus on quality and innovate business models, using tea to boost industries and enrich local communities—transforming the tea industry into a green engine driving rural revitalization in Anshun.

In his address, Chen Kezhong explained that Guanling Autonomous County leverages its geographical advantages—high altitude, low latitude, and frequent cloud cover and mist—to prioritize ecological conservation and pursue green development. The county has established 20,000 mu of standardized tea gardens, with 13,000 mu already in production, spanning six townships and subdistricts including Dingyun, Yongning, and Shaying. The county has cultivated 12 tea enterprises and cooperatives, certified three enterprises under the SC standard, and registered 11 trademarks, including “Guanling Tea Industry,” “Dongguanling,” “Fanhuacha,” and “Fuyuan.” By 2025, the county’s total tea output is expected to reach 460.5 tons, an increase of 19.65% year-on-year, with a total output value of 150 million yuan, up 19.7% over the previous year. The tea industry is rapidly emerging as a green pillar for boosting local incomes and revitalizing the county—and as a golden hallmark of Guanling. We hope that entrepreneurs and investors from all sectors will come to Guanling and invest in the region, deepening cooperation in areas such as base construction, sophisticated processing, brand management, and the integration of tea tourism, so that the tea industry can truly become the “golden leaf” that increases farmers’ incomes and the “green engine” driving county-level development.
